The U18 team drew 1:1 with NRC 'B' on Wednesday. Mark Tolson was the goal scorer for BGS. It is taking a little bit of time for new players to bed into the squad. Hopefully we will reap the rewards in future matches
Rugby: The 2nd XV travelled to Sullivan yesterday where they faced formidable opponents in the form of a Sullivan 1st XV / 2nd XV select squad, including Ulster U18 representatives. In spite of a spirited and determined display, Bangor were outplayed physically and lost by a significant margin. The highlight of the match, from a BGS perspective, was a searing break by Adam King down the left wing, intercepting and running 60metres before being hauled down just short of the line.
