Sports - Week of April 29th 2013



“The 1st XI lost to Regent House by 10 runs despite Matthew Kennedy’s 3wickets.

Bangor Grammar U15’s won by 37runs.  Top scorer on the day was Chris Kent with 23runs, while both Robbie Reed and Luke McWaters both took 3 wickets.

The U14s defeated Regent House by 40runs with good performances from Chris Connolly who top scored with 28 and Oliver Ward claiming 4wickets.

Lastly, well done to the U12s who won their first match by 8wickets. Aaron Sexton claimed 3wickets alongside Callum Thompson who bowled well for figures of 1 for 11.  Reece Larmour top scored with 40runs and was well supported by Josh Webster.

Well done to all boys who took part and represented the school very well.”


Congratulations to all boys who competed in the Senior and Inter District Athletics Championships on Wednesday. BGS had a very successful day which culminated in the Senior Team winning the Overall Team Competition.  Below are a summary of the results.
